The anime adaptation of the I'll Become a Villainess Who Goes Down in History light novel series has released a new trailer and details about its opening and ending theme songs. The anime is scheduled to premiere on October 1, and will air in 29 channels in Japan. The trailer previews the isekai anime's opening theme song Baddududu, performed by Liyuu; the ending theme song is titled Wachu Ane?, performed by Rin Kurusu. More new footages highlighting the protagonist, Alicia Williams, are featured in the trailer. Kanna Nakamura is voicing Alicia in the anime. Studio MAHO FILM is producing the animation for I'll Become a Villainess Who Goes Down in History anime, with Yuji Yanase directing and Sawako Hirabayashi writing the script. Yuko Watabe and Eri Kojima are the character designers, and Moe Hyuga is the music composer.

What is I'll Become a Villainess Who Goes Down in History about?
I'll Become a Villainess Who Goes Down in History anime is based on the light novel series of the same title (Japanese: Rekishi ni Nokoru Akujo ni Naru zo: Akuyaku Reijō ni Naru hodo Ōji no Dekiai wa Kasoku suru yō desu!) written by Izumi Okido and illustrated by Jyun Hayase, which began as a web novel published on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website in December 2018. The isekai series was acquired by Enterbrain, which has been publishing the light novel series since August 2019.
The series also received a manga adaptation illustrated by Akari Hoshi, which started serialization in May 2020. Yen Press, which licensed the manga in English, shared a description for I'll Become a Villainess Who Goes Down in History:
"SCREW ALL YOUR LIP SERVICE! I’LL GO DOWN IN HISTORY AS A VILLAIN! Me, the same girl who hates all those prim and proper heroines, got reincarnated as the villain in the world of my favorite fantasy dating sim! It’s my dream come true, so I’m going to leave my mark on history by becoming the world’s greatest villain! But to do that, I’ll need to get a lot stronger, and smarter. Just one problem—the harder I try to be evil, the harder the prince falls for me! At this rate, will I ever get to earn my place in history!?
