The official website of I Shall Survive Using Potions! anime has released a new preview video for its first episode ahead of its October 8 (US timezones) premiere. Nobuaki Nakanishi is directing the anime, and Jumondo Studio will be in charge of its animation. Takayo Igami wrote the scripts while Chisato Kikunga is in charge of the character designs.

What is I Shall Survive Using Potions! about?
The anime is based on the manga series of the same title (Japanese: ポーション頼みで生き延びます, Pōshon-danomi de Ikinobimasu!) by FUNA. The series was published by Kodansha in print with illustrations by Sukima, and as of March 2023, nine volumes have been released. A manga adaptation illustrated by Hibiki Kokonoe was serialized on the Suiyōbi no Sirius platform in June 2017 to January 2022. Futsū Onshin created a sequel manga that began serialization on the same platform in August 2022. As of March of this year, the manga's individual chapters have been collected into a single volume.

Kaoru Nagase, who lost her life due to a mistake made by Earth’s administrator, is reincarnated in another world, Verny, as a girl named Kaoru. Verny’s administrator, Celestine, tells her, “The ability to speak, read and write in every language in this world,’ ‘The ability to put the medicine you want into the container you want,” “The capacity is infinite, and there is no internal time lapse.” She is given an item box that she can put in and take out freely, but cannot be used by others, and even has Celestine become her friend. Kaoru immediately sells her healing potion in the Barony of Runier, where she first visits, but for some reason she can’t sell it…
