Netflix is now hyping up the release of its new K-drama series, Gyeongseong Creature. After dropping a set of new stills a couple of days ago, it has dropped a new trailer featuring Park Seo Joon and Han Soo Hee. As the two brave the hospital together, they finally see the creature that might be behind the people’s disappearance. With the intense action and the number of enemies they face, Seo Joon tells So Hee to stay alive. You can see the preview below:
The Gyeongseong Creature trailer begins with Park Seo Joon pointing his gun at someone while a man’s voice can be heard in the background. “Are you a good man or a bad man?” the man asks. He’s then seen with Han So Hee, who is looking for him, knowing he’s the most well-informed man in Gyeongseong.
The two then plan to go to the suspicious basement of Ongseong Hospital. "Patients who are moved here never come back," Han So Hee reveals. A woman then reveals that a lot of horrific things are happening in the infirmary when a monster suddenly appears, surprising both So Hee and Park Seo Joon. But aside from the creature, they also have to fight the soldiers in the hospital to save themselves.
“The hunt will never stop,” another man says. As the fight continues, Han Soo Hee asks Park Seo Joon to promise her one thing. “Stay alive,” Seo Joon says.
Aside from the trailer, Netflix released a new key visual for Gyeongseong Creature. The poster shows the sunset above the Ongseong Hospital while cherry blossom trees can be seen in the background. A set of tentacles protrudes behind the protagonists, Park Seo Joon and Han So Hee, while the other characters surround them.

Park Seo Joon & Han So Hee Talk About Gyeongseong Creature
Park Seo Joon plays the role of Jang Tae Sang in Gyeongseong Creature. Aside from being the most knowledgeable man in Gyeongseong, he’s also famous for owning the House of Golden Treasure pawnshop. Talking about the series, he told Naver (via Soompi) that the characters living in the dark times of Spring 1945 and the emergence of mysterious creatures would add more tension and excitement to the story.
Alternatively, Han Soo Hee plays Yoon Chae Ok, who is known for being a bounty hunter who looks for missing people. She also excited fans when she said combining the period drama and the enigmatic beasts would add a “diverse appeal” to the show.
In addition, the series director, Jeong Dong Yoon, claimed he tried to put balance on the show by making Gyeongseong bright and cheerful, while Ongseong Hospital was set in a tense and dark place. He also said that the dramatic contrast of spaces had meaning in the show.
Gyeongseong Creature will be divided into two parts: Part 1 will be released on December 22, 2023, followed by Part 2 on January 5, 2024. This will be another monster story that fans must see right after Sweet Home Season 2.
