It has been three months since the release of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 but the sequel is finally coming to Disney+. The beloved third film of James Gunn's epic Marvel Cinematic Universe trilogy will officially begin streaming next month. This also means that we could be seeing some never-before-seen scenes from the movie!
Back in May, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 finally hit theaters after a long wait. The sequel was initially halted when Disney and Marvel Studios fired James Gunn from the project. Luckily, the filmmaker was soon reinstated and Gunn had his chance to give the trilogy the conclusion it deserved.
Not surprisingly, Volume 3 was a huge hit at the box office as fans repeatedly watched the movie to catch all the Easter eggs and references. In addition to that, the film was an emotional rollercoaster that put Rocket Raccoon at the heart of the story. Needless to say, people were delighted when the sequel was finally announced to begin streaming on Disney+ this August.
The streaming date was announced through a new video that highlights some of the best moments in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. It's also a cool excuse to relive that hilarious scene where Peter Quill aka Star-Lord attempts to drive away with a car, only to realize he doesn't even know how to work a manual.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 brings back Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldaña, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Sean Gunn, Elizabeth Debicki, Maria Bakalova, and Sylvester Stallone. Peacemaker star Chukwudi Iwuji and Will Poulter of the Maze Runner movies joined the cast as the High Evolutionary and Adam Warlock, respectively.
The third Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 film will begin streaming on Disney+ on August 2, 2023.
