Goblin Slayer Season 2 is scheduled to release its seventh episode on Friday, November 17, and the official website of the anime has revealed new preview stills and an official synopsis that tease the Sword Maiden's discovery while deciphering the ancient runes. Goblin Slayer Season 2 Episode 7 will showcase the continuation of the attack on the forest, and it looks like there's going to be a lot of goblin-slaying action deep in the jungle of the elf village.

The official synopsis of Goblin Slayer Season 2 Episode 7 reads:
Goblin Slayer's party intercepts Mokele Mbembe who attacked the elf village, and becomes convinced that goblins are nesting near the elf forest. In order to annihilate the goblins, they head to the river dam located deep in the jungle of the elf village. At the same time, the Sword Maiden, who is working on deciphering the clay tablets, realizes something...
LIDENFILMS is animating Goblin Slayer Season 2, with Isoroku Koga directing and storyboarding the episode. Koga is also credted as the chief animation director of Episode 7, with Hideyuki Kurata in charge of the script.
What is Goblin Slayer about?
The Goblin Slayer (Japanese: Goburin Sureiyā) anime is based on the light novel series written by Kumo Kagyu and illustrated by Noboru. The series also received a manga adaptation by Kousuke Kurose, and it's still ongoing. White Fox animated the first season of the anime, which aired in Fall 2018 anime season, and a sequel movie titled Goblin Slayer: Goblin's Crown was released in 2020.
Yen Press, the publisher of the English version of the Goblin Slayer light novel and manga series shared a plot description for the series:
