Frieren, Fern, and the rest of the First Class Mage Exam examinees continue the fight against their clones to pass the second stage. However, as their replicas possess the same strong powers as them, they evidently have a hard time winning. After the previous episode sees Frieren and Fern fight the former’s duplicate, the battle continues, and the preview for Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Episode 26, titled Magic Height, shows how the two will try to win against the strongest clone.
The stills for Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Episode 26 mostly focus on the First Class Mage Exam examinees, capturing the intense battles as they try to get to the end of the dungeon. The first still shows Frieren in her full glory as she faces her own clone. It’s followed by a glimpse of Ubel, Land, and Denken together, seemingly crafting a plan to defeat their own enemies.
Methode is then seen seemingly trying to heal Fern as the latter glows in blue with Methode's power while Frieren pinches Fern’s cheeks. Aside from Frieren’s clone, the replicas of Kanne, Lawine, and Laufen also appear, threatening the group that will fight them. For the last still, Fern unveils her power using her wand as she tries to defeat Frieren’s clone, who’s deemed the strongest of all.

What to Expect from Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Episode 26
The examinees finally learn that Spiegel, a mythical water-mirror demon that lives in the dungeon, is behind all the replicas in the royal tomb. However, before they get to confront and face Spiegel, they must first defeat Frieren’s clone. Hence, Fern and Frieren will do their best to beat the latter’s copy. Also, Denken, Lawine, and others have to fight the other clones. But as they do so, it looks like Sense, known for pushing the examinees to the limits, will try to get in the way.
