After Fern and Stark’s intense fight against Lugner and Linie in the previous episode, Frieren will finally return in the upcoming Frieren: Beyond Journey's End Episode 10. The anime has dropped the preview stills for the next episode, featuring Frieren's teacher.
The anime’s official website has released the Frieren: Beyond Journey's End Episode 10 stills. The first still sees the return of Frieren after her non-appearance in the previous episode, and she appears to be in the middle of the forest.
The next one sees her with Flamme, a beautiful human wizard who has lived for over a thousand years. Just like Frieren, she’s a famous historical hero and the mage’s teacher. The two seem to share a word while sitting on a porch.
The third and fourth previews then see Frieren holding her wand and ready for a fight while Aura holds an unbalanced scale of justice with her legion of demon guards behind her. And for the last still, a stunning look of Flamme is once again seen.

Frieren: Beyond Journey's End Episode 10 will see the introduction of the great wizard Flamme. Though she’s a human, she’s also a magician dubbed a hero in history. She’s about to meet Frieren, the only survivor in an elf village attacked and wiped out by the Demon King’s army. Her meeting with Frieren seems to hint that the new episode will feature Frieren’s backstory. Also, Episode 10 will see the fight between Frieren and Aura.
