What is Flower and Asura about?

The Flower and Asura anime is based on the manga series written by Ayano Takeda (author of Sound! Euphonium) and illustrated by Musshu. The coming-of-age series began serialization in Shueisha's Ultra Jump magazine in June 2021.

Shueisha's story description of Flower and Asura reads:

Hana lives on the small island of Tonakijima with a population of 600 and loves reading to the children of the island. Mizuki is the president of the broadcasting club at school. She recognizes Hana’s ability to engage people through her reading, and so she invites her to join the broadcasting club. “Tell me what you really want, and I will make it come true.” “I want to join the broadcasting club.” Hana decides to join, and she experiences many “firsts” with the members of the broadcasting club and begins to deepen her love of reading.
