ENA and Genie TV's upcoming romantic comedy Tastefully Yours, starring Kang Ha-neul and Go Min-si, is coming to Netflix next month. The internationally-licensed South Korean series directed by Park Dhan-hee and written by Jung Soo-yoon has released its first teaser trailer and poster featuring the romance of the two leads: the chaebol heir Han Beom-woo (Kang Ha-neul) and the stubbon chef Mo Yeon-joo (Go Min-si).
In Tastefully Yours, Ha Neul's character is a heir to the top food corporation in Korea while Min-si plays a chef who runs a small one-table restaurant in a remote area. The two have different backgrounds and philosophies about food but wind up running a restaurant together in the South Korean city of Jeonju, where they build romance in their fierce kitchen encounters.
The first teaser begins with Han Beom-woo, narrating: “This chef is no joke—her skills and her personality as well.”
Despite their shaky start, Han Beom-woo is astonished after tasting Mo Yeon-joo's food, and he becomes determined to steal her recipe. “I must have it,” he says then he slaps himself to return to his senses. Reacting to his strange actions, Mo Yeon-joo says, “He really must be crazy.” The video ends with the two leads simultaneously screaming, “We’re not a couple!”. Watch the first teaser trailer for Tastefully Yours below:
The first poster for Tastefully Yours shows the contrasting goals of Mo Yeon-woo, who's described to be a "born chef obsessed with flavor", and Han Beom-woo, a three-star recipe hunter that "reaches for the stars". Mo Yeon-joo is seen wearing an apron and sun visor, joyfully looking at a mushroom, showing her passion for cooking. In sharp contrast, Han Beom-woo is wearing a stylish suit with sunglasses clipped on his dress shirt. He is tightly grabbing onto the word "star", showing his determination to earn a prestigious three-star rating.
