Dragon Ball Super manga by Akira Toriyama and Toyotarou is getting ready to release the next chapter of the popular shonen series, so the manga has released the first look at Chapter 97, which is expected to release later this month.
Recent manga chapters of Dragon Ball Super has been adapting the events of Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero movie, but they made some differences from the feature film such as a prequel arc that showed more of teenage Goten and Trunks before they get into the major conflict against the Red Ribbon Army. It turns out that they duo had taken superhero personas similar to how Gohan's the Great Saiyaman did in the past.
The previous chapter concluded with a tease of Goten and Trunks joining the battle against the powerful Cell Max themselves, but unlike as shown in the film, they would be going into fight as local superheroes. The first look of Dragon Ball Super Chapter 97 teases that battle, @DbsHype shared it on X (formerly Twitter):
@DBSHype went on to note that more previews will be revealed on Thursday, September 14, so expect to see more of Goten and Trunks' epic battle against Cell Max.

In Dragon Ball Super Chapter 96, Cell Max made its official debut in the manga's pages subsequent to the battle between Orange Piccolo and Gohan against the Gamma 1 and 2 Androids. The final moments of the chapter witnessed the aforementioned Androids being defeated by the colossal monster in their attempt to rectify their earlier actions. Consequently, Goten and Trunks took it upon themselves to engage in the battle, as Gohan and Piccolo required some respite following their encounter. However, unlike in the movie, the duo transformed into their Saiyaman X-1 and X-2 hero suits, which were previously observed during the prequel arc.
