Dragon Ball Super manga series written by Akira Toriyama and illustrated by Toyotarou just wrapped up adapting the latest movie of the shonen franchise, Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, and now, fans are now wondering what will happen next in the future of the manga's story. The first preview for Chapter 101 will give readers an idea what's next for the Z-Fighters and what the remnants of the Red Ribbon Army might be up to following their defeat.

Warning: This article contains spoilers for Dragon Ball Super Chapter 101.

The title of the next chapter of Dragon Ball Super manga is Carmine and No. 15, teasing the introduction of a brand new android. While Dragon Ball Z has featured Android 15 before, initially in the film Dragon Ball Z: Super Android 13, the movies are not considered canon to the official timeline of the series. Magenta died during the events of Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, but it looks like his right-hand guy Carmine still wants revenge against the Z-Fighters, so it looks like he's still on the move.

Dragon Ball Super Chapter 101 First Preview

The first preview for Dragon Ball Super Chapter 101 features Goten and Trunks back to being the newest superheroes in the world as Carmine is trying to escape. The first draft pages did not reveal the new iteration of Android, but the criminal organization's creation will likely be similar to what fans have seen in the feature film. Don't expect Black Frieza to appear in the next chapter as it looks like this arc is focused on Earth-level threats.

Is Dragon Ball Super anime returning this year?

Toei Animation hasn't announced any plans to revive the Dragon Ball Super anime series, but fans can expect Dragon Ball Daima, an original story from Akira Toriyama that will feature Goku and other Z-Fighters transformed into children as they try to reclaim their original forms. This might not be the news that Dragon Ball Super fans want to hear since the upcoming anime doesn't seem to take place after the Granolah the Survivor Arc, which featured the return of Frieza and revealed his most powerful transformation.
