We can finally stop worrying over whether Doom Patrol will return or now. Through a Threads post, James Gunn, co-CEO of DC Studios, admitted that he was currently busy with the first two installments in his rebooted DC Universe: Creature Commandos and Superman: Legacy.
However, regardless of that, he was able to inform fans about the fate of the famous Doom Patrol series. In his post, Gunn wrote, "I now have confirmation: As I surmised, no, Doom Patrol episodes are absolutely NOT being shelved, even though the premiere date for the next shows hasn't been announced to the public."
Doom Patrol Season 4’s first part, also serving as the last chapter of the show, was released on December 8, 2022, and ran its course till January 5, 2023. Despite much waiting, Warner Bros. Discovery has not confirmed or denied anything regarding its second volume.
