The anime adaptation of Yuin's Doctor Elise: The Royal Lady with the Lamp has revealed a special Christmas visual and voice drama ahead of its January 2024 premiere. They feature the isekai anime's main leads Elise de Lawrence (CV: Yui Ishikawa) and Linden de Romanov (CV: Yohei Azakami) sneaking out of a Christmas party.
Studio Maho Film is animating the series that's scheduled to premiere on January 10, 2024. Kumiko Habara will direct the anime, Deko Akao is in charge of the series composition, and Yuko Watanabe worked on the character designs. The opening theme song is titled believer performed by Yui Ishikawa, and the ending theme song is Listen by Maju Arai.

What is Doctor Elise about?
The anime is based on the Doctor Elise: The Royal Lady with the Lamp web novel by Yuin, and it was initially published on Kakao's KakaoPage service from December 2015 to April 2016. The series received a manhwa adaptation illustrated by Mimi, and it was serialized in KakaoPage from September 2017 to February 2021. The web novel was licensed in Japanese by Piccomo, while it was licensed in English by Tappytoon, which shared a plot description for the series:
Dr. Song, the youngest professor at the leading College of Medicine in Korea, was a royal brat of a princess in her previous life. But just as she’s about to meet an untimely death over the ocean, she wakes up as Princess Elise once again?! Enlightened with the medical knowledge of a master surgeon, is this her chance to mend her past relationships and heal an ailing empire, or is fate sealed to repeat itself?
