All The Love You Wish For (working title), starring Kim Woo-bin and Bae Suzy, is one of the most highly-anticipated South Korean drama shows coming to Netflix this year, but it looks like the production of the upcoming fantasy rom-com got a change of direction as director Lee Byung-heon left the project.
According to a January 27 report by Edaily (via Naver), director Lee Byung-heon, who's known for directing Extreme Job and Be Melodramatic, has stepped down from directing the highly-anticipated Netflix series during production last year due to personal reasons.
A representative from All The Love You Wish For's production team confirmed the news, stating, “It is true that Director Lee Byung Heon stepped down for personal reasons.” It was also revealed that The Glory director Ahn Gil-ho joined the production as the B-team director in July 2024, so they could complete filming Kim Woo-bin and Suzy's drama. The representative said, “We ask for your understanding that we cannot provide further details regarding the timing and reasons for Director Lee Byung-heon’s departure.”
The production for All The Love You Wish For wrapped up in late October 2024, and it's currently in the post-production stage, with the show set to release on Netflix this year.
