Netflix has dropped the official trailer for its upcoming K-drama Destined with You. Featuring SF9 member Rowoon and actress Jo Bo-ah, the preview shows the sweet chemistry between the two, seemingly hinting that the highly anticipated drama will be another big hit from the streamer.
Directed by Nami Ki Hoon and written by Nah Ji Sul, Destined with You tells the romantic story of Lee Hong-jo (Jo Bo-ah) and Jang Shin-yu (Rowoon). Their love story begins after Hong-jo obtains a forbidden book sealed in an old wooden chest that cursed Shin-yu. As destiny brings them together, can Hong-jo help cure Shin-yu?

The 47-second trailer sees Hong-jo and Shin-yu finding each other in the middle of a huge crowd. As they walk toward one another, their clothes change from modern to traditional Korean clothing, hinting at their past and future connection.
“I saw the future,” Hong-jo says. “There is no place for me by your side, Young Master.” As Shin-yu grabs and hugs Hong-jo, he asks her to “run away” with him “to someplace. Anywhere.”

What is Destined with You about?
Destined with You follows the lives of Hong-jo and Shin-yu. Its story revolves around a strange 300-year-old book hidden in a wooden chest owned by the civil servant Hong-jo. She will then meet Shin-yu, a famous young lawyer suffering from a mysterious illness brought on by a curse passed through his family for generations.
They will soon learn that the book is the key to curing his illness. As Shin-yu’s condition gets worse, they will find themselves falling in love with each other while trying to figure out how to break the curse.
