Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle First Movie 2025 Release Date Announced

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Infinity Castle Arc anime movie trilogy finally released a major update following its panel held at CCXP in Brazil. Crunchyroll and animation studio Ufotable has released a brand new visual for the highly-anticipated movie trilogy, announcing that the first movie will be released in 2025. The news was announced via a special stream that featured cosplays of Tanjiro Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma and Inosuka Hashibira. The stream played for about 15 minutes without a word spokemn before revealing the hidden visual and release window.

Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment officially announced the film trilogy after the conclusion of the TV anime adaptation of Hashira Training Arc (Season 4) in June 2024. They acquired the rights for the film trilogy's global theatrical release (excluding select Asian territories and Japan). No further release dates have been revealed at the time of this article's publication.

What is Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle about?

The Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle film trilogy will adapt the first of the two parts of the Final Battle arc of the popular manga series by Koyoharu Gotouge, which was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump from February 2016 to May 2020, publishing a total of 23 volumes. Viz Media licensed the manga series in English. After the Infinity Castle arc, we can expect an anime adaptation of the Sunrise Countdown arc which should mark the conclusion of the series.

The Demon Slayer Corps plunge into Infinity Castle to defeat Muzan. However, the remaining Hashiras and the Demon Slayers who survived Tanjiro's Final Selection are pitted against the remaining members of the Twelve Kizuki first.

The Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Hinokami Chronicles 2 sequel game was also announced on Sunday. The first four seasons of the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba TV anime adaptation are now streaming on Crunchyroll. Netlfix USA is only streaming the first three seasons.
