What is Demon Slayer: Hashira Training Arc about?
Demon Slayer's Hashira Training Arc is the last part of the dark fantasy story before the Final Arc of the series begins.
After Mitsuri and Muichiro manifest their Demon Slayer Marks during their battle against the Upper Moons, the Corps and the Ubuyashiki Family finally find a sliver of hope. The demon slayers finally get a chance of overpowering the intimidating Upper Moons if they manifest their marks.
However, it's not easy for them to tap into this power. That's why the entire Demon Slayer Corps start to train relentlessly under the guidance of the Hashira. The Hashira don't personally train anyone except for Tsuguko, but since the circumstances have changed, any demon slayer ranked less than a Hashira must train under them. The Hashira training is divided into three parts: an intense physical training under Tengen Uzui, flexibility training from Mitsuri, and a high-speed training from Tokito.
Aniplex of America licensed the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba series based on the best-selling manga series by Koyoharu Gotouge. It's available to stream on Hulu and Crunchyroll in North America. In October 2019, Adult Swim's Toonami programming block premiered the Ufotable-produced TV anime.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Hashira Training Arc (Season 4) is scheduled to premiere in the Spring 2024 anime season.
