After fighting a Kraken, a legendary sea monster of enormous size, in the previous episode, Marcille will be interested in learning the living system in the dungeon. In the preview for the upcoming Delicious in Dungeon Episode 8, titled Mokuichigo/Yakiniku, she will take a trip down memory lane and remember her time with Farin at the magic school. However, as she looks back on being the most talented student, she makes a sudden realization.

The Delicious in Dungeon Episode 8 teaser mostly focuses on Marcille as she remembers her life as a student. It shows her unable to sleep as Laios deeply snoozes while Senshi and Chilchuck are busy doing their own things. She then reads a book as she thinks of the living system in the dungeon and the monsters they faced in the previous episode.
From there, a glimpse of her time at the magic school is revealed. While she’s busy getting the attention of many, a young Farin appears, holding her plant and being pushed by one of the girls. Marcille gladly helps her to stand on her feet again. Later, as the experiment begins, Farin ends up making a big fire in the classroom.
Alternatively, the preview stills for Delicious in Dungeon Episode 8 show Marcille trying to hear something from a boulder while Farin whispers something to her ear in another. A solo preview of Farin is then revealed, followed by a glimpse of the former Touden siblings’ party members, Shuro and Namari. Senshi and Chilchuck are then seen with surprised faces as Marcille is doing something behind their back. Later, the two see a water ball floating, while the next shows Marcille seemingly using her power with water droplets around her. The two, who were opposites during their time at magic school, deepen their relationship through a spirit-breeding experiment. The anime is based on the manga of the same title by Ryoko Kui. It ran from February 2014 to September 2023 on Enterbrain’s seinen manga magazine Harta.
