The anime adaptation of Yukinobu Tatsu's Dan Da Dan manga series has released three teaser trailers focusing on different aspects of the rom-com supernatural thriller anime. In addition, a new key visual and 5 new cast members have been revealed. Netflix and Crunchyroll will begin streaming the TV anime on October 3, and the first three episodes, compiled into Dan Da Dan: First Encounter, are currently screening in theaters worldwide. The anime is clearly one of the most highly-anticipated shows coming for the Fall 2024 anime season, and based on the previews, it looks like the series will be fun to watch.

Dan Da Dan anime is directed by Fuga Yamashiro, with HIroshi Seko as the series composer, and Naoyuki Onda as the character designer. Science SARU is in charge of the animation. The opening theme song by Creepy Nuts was previewed in the latest main trailer, which you can watch below:
What is Dan Da Dan about?
Dan Da Dan anime is based on the romantic comedy / supernatural manga by Yukinobu Tatsu, which began serialization on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ service in 2021. As of July 2024, its chapters have been collected into 15 tankōbon volumes.
