Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty’s downloadable content is a brand-new thriller adventure that stars Idris Elba and Keanu Reeves. The game builds upon the foundations that were set by Cyberpunk and also presents a brand-new side of Night City that players can explore. Players will get to go on difficult missions as a cyber-enhanced mercenary that will go head-to-head against professionals and villains.
The director of Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, Gabriel Amatangelo, recently talked to IGN’s Stella Chung regarding the game’s upcoming expansion. They also discussed the new zone known as Dogtown, how vehicle combat will work in the game, brand-new abilities, cyberware, and much more! The director also confirmed that this will be the game’s final big update that players will get to see before the release of the Cyberpunk 2077 sequel.
On top of this, Amatangelo also highlighted plenty of massive changes that will take place in the 2.0 update, such as the Netrunner NPC changes, the brand-new police system, skill trees, and tons of other changes and improvements. The upcoming CD Projekt Red game has turned a couple of heads with its fancy features and exciting gameplay, and now players are excited about its release.
Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty Story
Phantom Liberty features the story of V, with whom players are already familiar with because of Cyberpunk 2077. Since V is a cyber-enhanced mercenary that was led by the government, he is required to take on a high-stakes mission in order to save the NUS President. However, that isn’t going to be easy since players will have to work with mysterious characters while going through the suspicious world of spycraft.
V will take on the challenge of a location known as Dogtown, which is run by a dangerous mafia. In this city, players will face several challenges and trials, putting their weapons and pieces of cyberware to the test. Players will have to choose carefully who they work with and who will have their back in the moment of danger since they can’t fail in this story of rescuing the NUS President. Phantom Liberty is set to feature plenty of exciting gameplay elements, features, and tons of other stuff! Sounds exciting, right?
