A shattered bus window is doing the talking in the newest look at the returning T.C.I. team. Rookie officer Ji Dae-se leans out through the broken glass while his far more experienced teammates work the scene around him, and the image alone promises a season that throws its newest member straight into the wreckage.

In the new stills, Cha Yeon-ho, Min So-hee, Jung Chae-man and Woo Dong-gi examine a scene that already looks like far more than an ordinary traffic accident. Eo Hyun-kyung and Ji Dae-se search the same scene for clues, giving the full six-member team its first group outing of the new season.

Ji Dae-se, played by NCT's Jisung, is a traffic division officer at Namgang Police Station who carries the department nickname "idol." Bright and quirky with impressive martial arts skills, he tends to act unpredictably where the veterans around him stay methodical. That contrast is set up as the season's live wire, raising the question of how his arrival reshapes a team that already runs like a machine.

Lee Min-ki returns as Cha Yeon-ho, the investigator whose keen analytical skills catch even the smallest clue at a scene. Kwak Sun-young is back as Min So-hee, once again putting the character's martial arts expertise and agility to work in the field. Together they restore the partnership that anchored the first season's cases.

Heo Sung-tae returns as Jung Chae-man, the founder of T.C.I. who keeps pursuing new cases after losing his wife. Lee Ho-chul plays Woo Dong-gi, the specialist who can identify a vehicle model just by listening to its sound and who excels at analyzing information. Moon Hee rounds out the returning lineup as Eo Hyun-kyung, the team's information gatherer who is also trained in various martial arts.

The original Crash made history in 2024 as the first Korean drama to focus on traffic crime investigations, and its Namgang Police Station team became an unlikely hit. For Crash 2, that team evolves into a regional investigative unit under the National Office of Investigation. Its cases now stretch nationwide, matching a wider brief with criminals and crash scenes on a scale the local unit never faced.

Ratings told the same story: the 12-episode first season opened at 2.2 percent and climbed to 6.6 percent by its finale. That finish made Crash the second-highest-rated ENA drama at the time, a result that turned a niche premise into a returning franchise.
