A classic action-adventure Star Wars game released in 2002 for the PlayStation 2 is now free to download and own. Today, Amazon has announced the Prime Gaming December 2024 lineup, which includes games such as Overcooked 2, Dredge, Tomb Raider: Underworld, and Star Wars: Bounty Hunter. Prime Gaming's limited time offer makes every game announced free as part of this month's lineup. This means that an Amazon Prime subscription is required to be able to download them for free, and the codes are limited to PC via GOG.
Usually, Star Wars: Bounty Hunter would cost gamers $19.99 to purchase on modern platforms. Developed by LucasArts, the game was originally released in November 22, 2022 for the PlayStation 2, and was later released for the Nintendo Gamecube. However, the version that's free with Prime Gaming is the "remastered" version launched by Aspyr Media in August 2024.
