You can check the preview below:

The Chillin’ in Another World with Level 2 Super Cheat Powers trailer begins with an image of Flio, who has been summoned to another world as a hero candidate. He then starts to battle a purple slime but is almost attacked by a huge white fox that turns into a beautiful woman named Fenrys, the demon wolf who ends up as Flio’s wife.

The two then discuss Flio’s plan to change his appearance, as someone might chase him from the castle. The preview then introduces Balirossa, the Knights of the Crylord Magic Kingdom’s female knight; Blossom, a powerful heavy knight; Byleri, also a knight member; Belano, the group’s mage; and Sabea, a high-level magical beast and Flio’s pet.

Of course, the story won’t be complete without the villains. The preview also shows Blonde Hero, who is also summoned from another world as a hero candidate; Tsuya, who has deep feelings for Blonde Hero; and First Princess, the King of the Clylord Magical Kingdom’s daughter. The trailer ends with Fenrys calling Flio her husband wherever they go.

What is Chillin’ in Another World with Level 2 Super Cheat Powers?

Chillin’ in Another World with Level 2 Super Cheat Powers follows the story of Banaza, who works as an ordinary merchant and is suddenly summoned to another world as a hero candidate. But with his poor abilities, he’s disqualified to be a hero. Add to that the country’s mistake; he’s unable to return to his original world. However, he reaches Level 2 abilities after fighting off the slimes after being exiled to the frontier, changing his status into an unfamiliar symbol.

You can read the synopsis below:

Banaza, who was working every day as a merchant, is suddenly summoned as a ``hero candidate'' to a different world he has never seen or heard of, called the Crylord Magical Country. However, because his Lv1 abilities were on par with those of ordinary citizens, he was branded as disqualified as a hero, and furthermore, due to a mistake by the country, he was unable to return to his original world... Banaza, who was exiled from the royal capital to the frontier, manages to survive by fighting off the slimes that attack him in the forest, and when he raises his level to 2, his status changes to the unfamiliar "∞" symbol.─!? This is the story of a turbulent newlywed marriage between a ``transcendence'' who chooses to live in a different world by changing his name and appearance and a ‘demon’ who falls in love with a hostile human race.

The anime is based on the Japanese light novel written by Miya Kinojo and illustrated by Katagiri. It was originally serialized on the website Shosetsuka ni Naro between 2016 and 2019. It was later acquired by Overlap and started publishing as a light novel in December 2016 under the Overlap Novels imprint. It was then adapted into manga, illustrated by Akine Itomachi, and started serialization on the Comic Gardo website in January 2019. An anime adaptation by J.C. Staff was announced at the 10th Anniversary Memorial Overlap Bunko All-Star Assemble Special in October 2023.
