Two episodes into Park Eun-Bin’s new Netflix K-drama, Castaway Diva’s ratings have significantly increased viewership, scoring a 5.2 nationwide average rating—two percent higher than its premiere episode. As things get interesting, tvN releases a new trailer for the upcoming third episode, featuring Seo Mok-Ha and Yoon Ran-Joo’s sweet bonding.
The preview begins with Mok-Ha touching Ran-Joo’s trophy. The two share an emotional scene after Mok-Ha acts as Ran-Joo’s ghost singer while the latter pretends to hit the high notes live. The next scene then shows the two enjoying dancing together at the Kang family home.
At one point, even Kang Bo-Geol and Kang Woo-Hak’s mom and dad celebrate with Mok-Ha and Ran-Joo while the two boys silently watch without them knowing. However, as Mok-Ha may start to fulfill her lifelong dream of becoming a diva like Ran-Joon, bringing her guitar to the studio, something may get in the way.

Though the network has yet to release Castaway Diva Episode 3’s official synopsis, based on the preview, Ran-Joo may start mentoring Mok-Ha. Ran-Joo may have already known Mok-Ha’s backstory from receiving a call from Sugar Agency to her tragic accident 15 years ago.
But aside from teaching Mok-Ha the ways of becoming a diva, the aspiring singer may also help Ran-Joo return to prominence and once again be the idol whom many love. But the paths to these two dreams will be challenging, and Mok-Ha may face several problems along the way.
What happened in Castaway Diva Episode 2?
Castaway Diva Episode 2 saw the unexpected rescue of Mok-Ha after Woo-Hak joined his brother, Bo-Geol’s mission to clean the seas. As Woo-Hak used his drone to look for more trash on the island, he saw a woman trying to catch his device, not knowing what it was for.
Upon seeing Woo-Hak, Mok-Ha cried, knowing she was finally saved. Returning to the real world, she was surprised to see the massive changes. With Woo-Hak’s help, Mok-Ha returned to her hometown, only to find out that others already owned her dad’s restaurant and home; while Jung Ki-Ho had already left the island. No one knew his whereabouts. This made Mok-Ha return to Seoul to fulfill her dream and find Ki-Ho.
