Sam Wilson has now taken on the mantle as the new Captain America after Steve Rogers chose him as his replacement due to aging and neutralizing powers. As Sam has left his role as Falcon, Joaquin Torres is ready to wear his new military wingsuit to fly, defend, and attack. These two are about to lead the fight in the upcoming Captain America: Brave New World and the new McDonald’s merchandise has given a first look at Torres as Falcon.

X (formerly Twitter) user @CanWeGetToast shares McDonald’s Captain America: Brave New World tie-in poster featuring Sam as Captain America and Joaquin as Falcon. As the former US Air Force pararescue airman proudly shows his suit, Falcon is flying over the sky as he dons his new green-hued ensemble, helmet, and mechanical wings, which look far different from Sam’s grey and red costume.

Danny Ramirez will reprise his role as Joaquin in the fourth Captain America movie after playing it for the first time in the Disney+ series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. However, this will be the first time he will be seen as Falcon after Sam gifted him his busted wings in the show’s penultimate episode.

In addition, user @azalben has also given a glimpse of McDonald’s Happy Meal toys featuring the miniatures of the movie’s characters. The image shows two versions of Captain America, hinting at a change of costume at some point in the film, and Red Hulk, suggesting Thaddeus Ross’ alter ego will be seen. It also features Falcon in his mechanical suit and two new characters, Songbird and Sabra.

What is Captain America: Brave New World about?

Plot details of Captain America: Brave New World have remained under wraps, but Sam will suit up for his own movie after inheriting the shield and title of Captain America. It’s expected to follow the events after the 2021 The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. However, though it’s a follow-up, Mackie ensures it will never be like Winter Soldier Part 2.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the actor revealed that the film would still be somehow a “two-hander.” But instead of working alongside Bucky Barnes, he will have Joaquin by his side. Joaquin is known for being Sam’s tech-savvy friend and another iteration of Falcon from the comics.

“They're evenly yoked," he said. “They're both military guys. I was his commanding officer. We have more of a friendship as opposed to the way I admired Steve or the way I didn't like Bucky.”
