Butareba -The Story of a Man Turned Into a Pig- has released a new trailer and third visual as the isekai anime approaches its finale. Project No. 9 (Bottom-tier Character Tomozaki, My Tiny Senpai) is in charge of the animation of the series that started broadcasting in October of this year. The titular pig is being voiced by Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (Inosuke in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Kirito in Sword Art Online) is voicing the titular Pig, while the lead female character Jess is being voiced by Tomori Kusunoki (Makima in Chainsaw Man).

The anime adaptation of Butareba -The Story of a Man Turned Into a Pig- is being directed by Masayuki Takahashi (Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon) with series composition by Deko Akao, character designs by Ryo Hirata and music by MAYUKO (Ranking of Kings) and Kenichiro Suehiro.
What is Butareba -The Story of a Man Turned Into a Pig- about?
Buta no Liver wa Kanetsu Shiro (豚のレバーは加熱しろ, Butareba -The Story of a Man Turned Into a Pig- ) is based on the isekai light novel series written by Takuma Sakai and illustrated by Asagi Tōsaka. It began serialization in 2020. Seven volumes of the series have been published by ASCII Media Works under the company's Dengeki Bunko imprint since March 2020. There's also a manga adaptation with art by Minami, and it has been serialized in ASCII Media Works' seinen manga magazine Dengeki Maoh since August 2020, and it has been collected in four volumes.
