The swine protagonist is introduced in the latest character trailer for Butareba: The Story of a Man Turned Into a Pig!

Voice actor Yoshitsugu Matsuoka tested the muddy waters with a pig-headed character in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, and now he gets to play an actual pig in Butareba: The Story of a Man Turned Into a Pig. Project No.9 (Bottom-tier Character Tomozaki, My Tiny Senpai) is in charge of the animation. A new character trailer introducing the anime's pig protagonist has been released, and you can watch it here:

Masayuki Takahashi (Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon) is directing Butareba: The Story of a Man Turned Into a Pig anime, with series composition by Deko Akao, character designs by Ryo Hirata and music by MAYUKO (Ranking of Kings) and Kenichiro Suehiro.

Buta no Liver wa Kanetsu Shiro (豚のレバーは加熱しろ, Butareba: The Story of a Man Turned Into a Pig) is based on the isekai light novel series written by Takuma Sakai and illustrated by Asagi Tōsaka. It began serialization in 2020. Seven volumes of the series have been published by ASCII Media Works under the company's Dengeki Bunko imprint since March 2020. There's also a manga adaptation with art by Minami, and it has been serialized in ASCII Media Works' seinen manga magazine Dengeki Maoh since August 2020, and it has been collected in four volumes.

According to Crunchyroll, here's the official synopsis of Butareba: The Story of a Man Turned Into a Pig:

The story follows an unappealing otaku who awakens in the body of a pig after he passes out while eating raw pig liver. Pig finds himself in the company of Jess, an innocent girl who can read people's minds, and she accepts him despite his boorish thoughts...although she does plan to eat him. When Jess is in danger of succumbing to a dark destiny, can Pig save her using only his quick wits, wisdom, and refined sense of smell?

If you're still wondering if this anime will be worth the watch, it's worth noting that the light novel series won the gold prize (effectively second place) in the 26th Dengeki Novel Prize in 2019. Butareba: The Story of a Man Turned Into a Pig anime will begin streaming on October 7 on Crunchyroll.
