Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, post-timeskip manga series by Naruto creator Masashi Kishimoto and illustrator Mikio Ikemoto, is getting ready to release its seventh chapter this month. Thanks to Eida's memory-changing power, Boruto Uzumaki's friends in Konohagakure have become his enemies. He has switched roles with Kawaki, and is seen as a vigilante who's believed to have killed "Kawaki's father", Naruto. The previous manga chapter concluded with Boruto preparing to confront one of his former best friends, and a new preview has been released for Chapter 7, and it looks like the tension will continue to escalate.

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 7 First Preview
The official website of Boruto shared the first preview for its upcoming chapter, featuring Kawaki and Mitsuki. The two characters were Boruto Uzumaki's former friends as part of Team 7, but they're clearly not on Boruto's side now. Mitsuki is determined to protect Kawaki from Boruto even though Kawaki is annoyed at his constant presence. In the previous chapter, Kawaki is relentlessly trying to go after Boruto, and it looks like their battle is just getting started.
The sneak peek shows reveals a confrontation between Kawaki and Mitsuki, and according to a rough English translation by Redditor u/PhysicsAnonie, Kawaki said, ""As long as the 'sun' called 'you' continues to shine on me, I can feel the meaning of living. For the first time, I realize I can illuminate the darkness with the radiant light of my shining 'moon.' It's the first time I've felt it's okay to live and be here."

This scene looks like a flashback, and it'll likely provide some background story and character development for both Kawaki and Mitsuki during the four-year timeskip. We'll likely see Boruto showcase his new powers against Mitsuki in the next chapter, and there's a good chance that we will see Mitsuki's new snake abilities as well. Of course, fans are excited for this epic battle.
