Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, the second part of the Boruto manga series by Naruto creator Masashi Kishimoto and artist Mikio Ikemoto, is one of the most anticipated shonen titles fans are looking forward to read every month. The new series takes place after the timeskip, about four years after the conclusion of the first part of the series, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, and shows how Naruto, Sarada, Kawaki, and other ninjas in Konohagakure (Hidden Leaf Village) have changed over the years.

Three chapters of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex have already been released, and the next one is Chapter 4, which is expected to continue the epic conflict between Boruto, Kawaki, and Code. Now, that fans have seen Boruto's powerful new jutsu called Rasengan Uzuhiko, it's clear that the titular hero has become more powerful over the years, and it's likely due to his intense training before the timeskip.

While fans have to wait for official previews for Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 4 to come out, we have the latest information here, and we will update once more details are officially released.

What to expect from Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 4

Warning: This article contains major spoilers from the first four chapters of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex

In the previous chapter (Chapter 3) of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, after Code refused to retreat, Boruto unleashed his special jutsu known as Rasengan Uzuhiko for the first time on him. As Boruto explained, the Rasengan Uzuhiko "incorporates a planet's chakra - rotation", so the power that's rushing in Code's body right now will never dissipate, causing permanent damage on the villain, just like how a planet will never stop spinning.

With Boruto having the upper-hand against Code, Kawaki interrupts the fight, and Code teleported away, back to his base. It turned out that Boruto and his toad companion had an infiltration plan in order to track the Ten-Tails, and the third chapter ended with the panel showing Boruto confirming the location of the Ten-Tails, thanks to his other toad friend.

Spoilers or previews for Chapter 4 haven't been revealed yet, but it'll likely focus on Boruto's mission to get to the Ten-Tails. However, it's likely that he will have to confront Kawaki and the rest of Konoha's ninjas first as Ada power was able to alter their memories before the timeskip, except for Sarada and Sumire. We might also see Boruto and Sarada talk, and hopefully, we'll see flashbacks of Boruto's training, and he was able to master the Rasengan Uzuhiko.

The text of the side panel on the last page of Chapter 3 reads: “Boruto, who has defeated Code with the power of his overwhelming Jutsu. The two toads that follow him are...!?”

Update: On November 16, leaks revealed that Kawaki is featured in the cover art of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 4, and the title of the chapter is Awakening. Now that the Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 4 is out, the manga confirms the leaks about the new villains that are introduced in the chapter.

In the latest chapter, the toad surveilling Code remotely tells Boruto that there's no time and to hurry up. Kawaki wonders who Boruto is talking to, and he uses the Flying Raijin Jutsu technique to teleport to where Code is. When Boruto arrives, he asks Code where Ten-Tails is, and the toad said that he just saw it down the pit. The toad says that it's unlikely Code moved the beast since he didn't make any suspicious movements.

Boruto says it's too late, and Code notices Bug devoured by the tree, but it turns out that there's a new villain that looks similar to Bug with Rinnegan eyes. The new villain attacks Boruto, and asks Boruto if he'd come to offer up himself as an Ohtsutsuki to be devoured.

Boruto dodges his attack, and Code asks what the hell is the thing that's giving him the vertigo. Boruto touched Code and tells him that he rescinded the Uzuhiko, and tells him to get up to prepare for the enemy's next attack. Code wonders what happened to Ten-Tails, and Boruto says that it's not just Bug but also others devoured by a tree.

Another villain shows up in the air, and tells Boruto and Code that "we divine trees exist to suck the chakra out of all living things." He tells them that they evolved a bit, thanks to Code awakening self-awareness.

A third villain shows up, and it's a seductive-looking female, and calls Code "poor" that it seems to be his inescapable fate to be "a clown" who ends up being used by someone else. The toad tells Boruto that this is a bad situation and that it's time to retreat. A fourth villain, hooded in a dark cloak, and Boruto looks curious as to who it may be.

Meanwhile, in Konoha, at the Hokage's office, the current Hokage, Shikimaru, and Kawaki talk about Boruto vanishing and his purpose of arriving in Konoha. Sarada shows up and tells them that it's obvious that Code attacked Konoha, and Boruto drove him away. Kawaki tells Sarada that she doesn't get it; that Boruto is an Ohtsutsuki that needs to be killed. Sarada snaps back saying that he is Ohtsutsuki himself, and Kawaki tells her that he only exist to kill other Ohtsutsuki. Sarada tells him that she won't let him have his way with Konoha as a shinobi who aims to be Hokage.

Shikimaru breaks up their conversation, and asks about the trees involving Claw Grimes. Sarada says that the entrapped villains are still alive, and that Boruto knows something. Sarada says that since Code is a threat to Konoha, they should collaborate with Boruto to take down Code.

Back to where Boruto and Code are, the four "new" villains gather up, and Code asks if they are "self-aware divine trees". The toad asks Boruto what they're going to do since their surprise attack failed.

The four villains attack them, including the formerly-hooded one that appears to look like Sasuke. Code tells Boruto that it seems like they'll devour him on their own to become a full divine tree without him doing anything, and he escapes via teleporting with his claw mark.

Boruto escapes and Kashi Kojin appears, telling him that there's a chance of this happening, but it doesn't really change anything, that they still have to fight. The final panel of the chapter reveals that Sasuke has been devoured by a divine tree, and Boruto apologizes, saying that he'll have to wait a bit longer.
