The long wait for Boruto Chapter 81 will be soon over. But even before the much-awaited new chapter’s release, it has been leaked online in its entirety, though it is in Japanese and has not been translated yet. As it shows major changes in the characters’ appearances due to the time skip, it also features Kawaki and Boruto facing each other again.
Boruto, a spinoff and sequel to Naruto, is a Japanese manga series written by Ukyō Kodachi and Masashi Kishimoto, with illustrations by Mikio Ikemoto. It was formerly titled Boruto: Naruto Next Generations when its monthly serialization began in Shueisha's shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump in May 2016. It was later transferred to Shueisha's monthly magazine V Jump in July 2019. However, come November 2020, Kodachi stepped down, and Kishimoto took over.

The leak features all 50 pages of Boruto Chapter 81. It shows that Boruto and his friends have seen significant changes in their appearances after the four-year time skip. But though nothing is known about the events happening in the new chapter due to its Japanese language, it seemingly hints at Kawaki and Boruto facing each other again in a ruined Konoha, bringing the manga closer to the flash-forward scene in its first chapter.

The leaked new chapter begins with a colored page featuring a much-matured Boruto and an upgraded version of Sarada. The next panel shows Shikamura wearing a Hokage cape.
The succeeding pages see Kawaki in a place where he has been keeping Naruto and Hinata. Compared to the young characters, these two have not aged a bit, as they are in a realm where time is frozen.
In addition, Sumire’s time skip avatar is also seen, while Daemon and Eida look the same. The Boruto Chapter 81 leak shows a grown-up Mitsuki and Himawara training with Choco.
