Rockstar Games has teased a "big" new update is coming to Grand Theft Auto Online. The announcement made today revealed their plans to release another mid-year DLC. Likely the next major update for GTA Online, Rockstar unexpectedly announced the update at the end of their latest Newswire post about the new GTA+ content. The GTA Online update is expected to launch this summer.

It was also announced that a brand new vehicle is coming to GTA Online, but the only info Rockstar shared about it is that it will be a "super car" and it will be released in this "summer's big GTA Online update." The game's summer update last year launched in June. The theme of the GTA Online update hasn't been revealed yet

According to Rockstar, GTA+ members will also get the brand new super car. This isn't surprising since typically each month, GTA+ members can get a vehicle for free in the game. “Plus, look out for the opportunity to secure a new bonus super car as part of your GTA+ Membership with this summer’s big GTA Online update," Rockstar said. When the update launches, the free vehicle they'll receive will be this super car.

Rockstar also announced plans to add Bully and L.A. Noire to GTA+ in 2024, but they haven't confirmed an exact date yet. Don't expect it to be added in the next few months as Red Dead Redemption was just recently added to the 'Games Included With GTA+' library, meaning GTA+ subscribers can play it on 4K on Xbox Series X or 60FPS on PS5 without actually owning the game. Bully and L.A. Noire, both published by Rockstar Games, will be added next, and the way Rockstar worded this plan suggests that more games will be added.

“We recently added Red Dead Redemption — with access to Undead Nightmare — to the stellar Games Included With GTA+ library, and Members can look forward to more Rockstar classics becoming available later this year, including L.A. Noire and Bully,” Rockstar revealed.

The publisher also confirmed new GTA+ features in their GTA+ update post, and teased more. Rockstar said that there will be “much more to come from The Vinewood Club later this year”. As part of The Vinewood Club Garage, the company announced a new Vehicle Workshop and app. Rockstar said that this app will be installed to the in-game phone, allowing players to “facilitate even easier access to The Club’s special advantages.”

Hopefully, Rockstar will also provide an update for Grand Theft Auto VI, which is still scheduled to launch for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S sometime in 2025.
