It seems like Fortnite re-introducing its iconic Chapter 1 map in the Season OG Update was strangely predicted in 2019 by Marvel’s Avengers: Endgame. In a scene from the movie, we can see the Kronan warrior Korg playing Fortnite on his PlayStation 4, which was previously thought to be a mistake in the movie, but as it turns out, the problem has fixed itself.

Even though Avengers: Endgame premiered all the way back in 2019 (and filmed even earlier than that), the film was actually set in the current year, i.e., 2023. However, owing to Fortnite being such an evolving video game, its map, as well as its general look, has completely changed in the four years since it was featured in Endgame.

Therefore, the pedantic fans were quick to find Korg playing the iconic battle royale game and claiming that it wouldn’t be available in 2023 anymore. They further claimed that the Marvel Cinematic Universe made a slight inaccuracy while making the movie. However, when you fast forward to November 2, everything changed when Epic Games launched Fortnite’s Season OG.

This particular season brought the battle royale game back to where it started off and once again made it possible for players to play the Tilted Towers area similar to Korg in Endgame. The location became available for the first time since the year 2019 when Epic Games decided to create the Fortnite map all over again and remove all the original locations.

Many players thought it would remain this way and made their peace until recently when the developers announced the OG Update. While Fortnite OG is here for a total of four weeks only, the developers might reconsider this decision and keep the update for a longer time. So far, it’s safe to say that the game is doing quite good, far better than it has in quite some while.

Fortnite’s Season OG instantly caused a massive spike in gamers before the battle royale game recorded its "biggest day" during only the first weekend of its launch. It looks like Epic Games won’t be able to ignore these numbers and might think of bringing similar content to the game in the future!
