The third part of the Ascendance of a Bookworm light novel series, titled Adopted Daughter of an Archduke, is officially getting an anime, and WIT Studio will be in charge of its animation. The previous three seasons were animated by Ajia-do. The latest anime announcement comes before the release of Part 5 Volume 12 of the book series on December 9. The Ascendance of a Bookworm anime is based on the light novel written by Miya Kazuki and illustrated by You Shiina. TO Books published the series, which started in 2015, two years after the story made its debut as a Shousetsuka ni Narou web novel, and thirty-two volumes have been published since January 2015. The series also received a manga adaptation with art by Suzuka, and it was serialized online via Niconico Seiga website from October 2015 to July 2018.
