The TV anime adaptation of As a Reincarnated Aristocrat, I’ll Use My Appraisal Skill to Rise in the World is getting ready to return for its second season, and today, the official website and social media accounts of the isekai series have revealed a new trailer, theme song details, and additional cast members. It was also announced that Season 2 will air on September 29 at 23:30 JST in Japan.
The trailer previews the the opening theme song, SKILLAWAKE, performed by PassCode (SHY Season 2 OP). The ending theme song, Familiar, will be performed by Yuki Tanaka. Based on the footage shown, it looks like Season 2 will be more epic than the first as we see Ars Louvent and other characters engage in major battles, but the vibe looks positive overall. As a Reincarnated Aristocrat, I'll Use My Appraisal Skill to Rise in the World anime is based on the light novel series of the same title (Japanese: Tensei Kizoku, Kantei Skill de Nariagaru: Jakushou Ryouchi wo Uketsuida node, Yuushuu na Jinzai wo Fuyashiteitara, Saikyou Ryouchi ni Natteta) written by Miraijin A and illustrated by jimmy. The light novel series has been serialized since 2020 under Kodansha's K Lanove Books imprint, and it received a manga adaptation with illustrations by Natsumi Inoue. Both the light novel series and manga are published by Kodansha, which shared a plot description for the series:
After thirty-five years of perfectly ordinary life, a run-of-the-mill businessman suddenly drops dead…only to be reborn in another world! Now he must live as Ars Louvent, scion of a minor noble family and wielder of a fabulous skill: Appraisal, the power to perceive the strengths and abilities of others at a glance.
