The staff of Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian has released the second main trailer for the upcoming anime adaptation. The new trailer features features the KAF x ZOOKARADERU collaboration theme song “secret word” as performed by Sumire Uesaka (as her character Alya). In the trailer, the anime previews the voices of Maki Kawase as Chisaki Sarashina and Kaito Ishikawa as Toya Kenzaki.
Studio Doga Kobo is producing the animation of Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian, with Ryota Ito (Shikimori's Not Just a Cutie) serving as both director and series composer. Yuhei Murota (Love Live! series) is the chief animation director and character designer; and Hiroaki Tsutsumi (Burn The Witch#0.8) is the music composer.

The anime adaptation of Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian (Japanese: Tokidoki Bosotto Roshiago de Dereru Tonari no Ārya-san) is based on the romantic comedy light novel series written by SunSunSun and illustrated by Momoco. It was originally published online as two short stories on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in May 2020 before it was acquired by Kadokawa Shoten, who have published the series since February 2021 under their Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko imprint. The series also received a manga adaptation by Saho Tenamachi, which began serialization online in Kodansha's Magazine Pocket app and website in October 2022.
