Ahsoka Episode 7 is finally here and it immediately had fans talking about Easter Eggs and references to the rest of the Star Wars Universe. Amazingly, the penultimate episode made two unexpected references to major villains and one of them could finally confirm the show's official timeline.

In Ahsoka Episode 7, Hera Syndulla had to face the Senate oversight committee and explain why she brought a fleet to Seatos. Although Chancellor Mothma tried to defend Hera's actions, Senator Xiono insisted that there was no coordination among the Imperial Remnant to try and bring Grand Admiral Thrawn back. When Captain Teva mentions the conflict on Mandalore, Xiono quickly dismisses it by saying Moff Gideon was acting on his own.

This is the first time that Gideon and the conflict of Mandalore has been mentioned outside of The Mandalorian and it pretty much confirms one thing: the events in Ahsoka take place after The Mandalorian Season 3. It is now clear that Ahsoka Tano's search for Ezra Bridger happens a lot later than we had expected considering that she last faced off against Morgan Elsbeth in The Mandalorian Season 2.

Gideon is not the only unexpected Star Wars villain mentioned in Ahsoka Episode 7. Later in the episode, Ahsoka is shown practicing while a hologram of Anakin Skywalker talks about the dangers she will face. He mentions General Grievous, Asajj Ventress, and Count Dooku. While fans were expecting the lightsaber collector and the Separatist mastermind, it's a surprise that Anakin still mentioned Ventress after all this time. After all, we haven't heard from the former Sith since Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

These may all be just little Easter Eggs but it's interesting to note that Anakin was concerned about characters who would later pale in comparison to Darth Vader. With that in mind, fans are still hoping that there will be more villains to watch out for in the final episode.
