The anime adaptation of Shizuru Minazuki’s A Journey Through Another World: Raising Kids While Adventuring (Isekai Yururi Kikō: Kosodate Shinagara Bōkensha Shimasu) light novel series is gearing up for its premiere this July, and its production team has released the second trailer today. The new promo video reveals and previews the anime's opening theme song, titled Yururing Travel Days, by Tebaski Sensation. The isekai fantasy's comedic elements are also previewed in the new trailer as we see protagonist Takumi Kayano and the young twins, Allen and Elena. Watch the new anime trailer below:
A Journey Through Another World: Raising Kids While Adventuring anime is directed by Atushi Nigorikawa (Beast Tamer, Love Tyrant, A Destructive God Sits Next to Me). EMT Squared is producing the animation, with Bros. Bird credited for production cooperation. Atsushi Maekawa is in charge of the series compositions while Yuki Nakano is the character designer, and Akinari Suzuki is the music composer of the anime. The anime's ending theme song MAKUAKE is perfromed by GOHOBI.
The main cast of the anime includes Yusuke Shirai as Takumi Kayano, Haruka Tomatsu as Sylphyleel, Aina Suzuki as Allen, and Miharu Hanai as Elena. Crunchyroll already confirmed its plan to stream the TV anime, and it will air TV Tokyo, BS TV Tokyo, and other channels in Japan.
What is A Journey Through Another World: Raising Kids While Adventuring about?
Based on the light novel series written by Shizuru Minazuki and illustrated by Yamakawa, A Journey Through Another World: Raising Kids While Adventuring anime was originally published online since June 2016, and since April 2017, publisher AlphaPolis have published fifteen volumes of the series.
A manga adaptation illustrated by by Tomomi Mizuna started serialization online via AlphaPolis' manga website in January 2018 and there are seven volumes published. Alpha Manga holds the English license for the manga series. The light novel series reached 1.1 million copies in circulation (including manga and digital editions).

Due to a mistake by a god, Takumi Kayano loses his life and is reincarnated. Bestowed with various skills, he finds himself transported to another world—a perilous forest infested with monsters. In that forest, Takumi discovers what appears to be twin young boys and girls, whom he names Allen and Elena, and takes them under his protection. Despite being surprised by the two effortlessly defeating monsters with their martial arts skills, Takumi eventually reaches a town and registers with the adventurer’s guild to make a living. Thus begins a laid-back adventurer’s life as Takumi watches over the growth of Allen and Elena!
