Players are eagerly awaiting an open-world Star Wars game, therefore, Ubisoft Massive will have high standards to meet. Besides, the narrative of Kay Vess, a cunning outlaw looking to leave the criminal underground by pulling off the coup of a lifetime, is the theme of Star Wars Outlaws. It takes place between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi from the original film trilogy.

A Star Wars first-person shooter that has not yet been given a name is also coming from Respawn Entertainment. Whereas, the project, which was initially announced in January 2022, is being developed under the direction of the director Peter Hirschmann. We don’t have many details regarding this game yet.

Hirschmann has previously contributed to several Star Wars video games. These games include multiple Lego Star Wars games, the original LucasArts Battlefront games, as well as shooters like Metal of Honour and Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction.

Respawn announced a Star Wars strategy game to keep the twists coming. The present development on the untitled Star Wars strategy game is being done in "production collaboration" with the recently founded firm Bit Reactor.

Equally important, Greg Foertsch is in charge of this new firm. He is an experienced developer who formerly worked at Firaxis on Sid Meisner's Civilization series and other projects, The project's launch date is still probably a little off because not much has been made public about this project.

Next, the Game Awards 2021 announced Star Wars: Eclipse with a breathtakingly exquisite cinematic video. The creators of Heavy Rain and Detroit: Become Human have created the story-driven video game Star Wars Eclipse. We are probably years away from the project's official release because it was only recently revealed.

During the High Republic period, both the Jedi Order and the Republic were at their most powerful, and they set the stage for Eclipse. You'll be seeing its tale through the perspective of an assortment of customizable characters in new settings with fresh faces. Moreover, all characters will have distinct identities, and they will influence one another and the journey as a whole in different ways.

Skydance New Media is also currently developing this unnamed Star Wars game. Veteran author and filmmaker, Amy Hennig, will run the firm alongside Lucasfilm Games. She is highly popular for her prior work on popular titles like Uncharted and Jak and Daxter. Much like other planned Star Wars games, we don’t have a lot of information regarding this game. 7. More Star Wars: KOTOR Games Under Development

Credit: Lucasfilm

Release date: TBC

Platform(s): TBC

Along with the 2003 RPG KOTOR remake, rumors suggest that a different Knights of the Old Republic-inspired game may undergo a remake. Bespin Bulletin leaked some news surrounding this game on BOB the Podcast and mentioned that it's very early to say anything.  It doesn't even have a development studio associated with it. However, he did say that the game will not be developed by a studio under EA.

Apart from this tiny tidbit, we sadly don't have any information regarding this claimed KOTOR project. It seems doubtful that KOTOR 2: The Sith Lords would be remade before Saber's adaptation is out. Therefore, it is probable that this unidentified development is an original tale set in the Old Republic.

With so many games on the way, Star Wars fans are certainly set to have a good time. Moreover, the amount of variety means there will be a game for everyone, whether you are hyped for a Star Wars FPS game, strategy game, or any of the other ones. We are excited to see how these games will perform, and if they will meet the expectations of their fans similar to the recent games.
