All the old posts have been loaded into the site and now the video page is operational. Some of the YouTube posts still need to be revised but for the most part you can search and watch videos within the site. The forums on the other hand are in serious trouble. We are working on getting this issue resolved. There are database problems as well as spam members that keep getting through the filter. Will update again soon.

Why am I sad? If I found this filter earlier, it would have saved me the use of up to 6 filters that I had to use in my video for Slick Rock. Ultimately, a lot of time and effort could be used for other things. Also, the filter does a much better job by itself than all of the filters I used combined.

I am happy to be able to find this great little trick in FCP and look forward to it’s many uses in the future.

One of the many things that it can do is eliminate all color except for a specific key. I made my own test of this effect in the following video:
